"Star Wars" star Daisy Ridley in the running for "Tomb Raider" reboot
"Star Wars: the Force Awakens" star Daisy Ridley has confirmed that she is in talks to star in a reboot of the "Tomb Raider" franchise.
Ridley would take on the role of daredevil archaeologist Lara Croft previously played on the big screen by Angelina Jolie.
The actress told the Hollywood Reporter that there "have been conversations" about the project but that she hasn't been offered the role yet. "I'm waiting for someone to say 'I want you, let's do it'," she said. She also added that the video game adaptation does not yet have a script.
