Chris Rock's "Top Five" debuts first trailer

After setting off an intense bidding war at the Toronto Film Festival, Chris Rock's "Top Five" is now unveiling its first trailer.

Rock, who co-wrote and directed the film, stars as Andre Allen, a comedian lauded as "the funniest man in America," star of the blockbuster "Hammy the Bear" film franchise and engaged to a reality TV star (Gabrielle Union).

The problem? He just doesn't feel like being funny anymore.

Rosario Dawson co-stars as a New York Times reporter profiling Andre for a story, who forces him to confront the comedy career -- and the past -- that he's left behind.

The movie also boasts an impressive ensemble cast that includes Tracy Morgan, Kevin Hart, Cedric the Entertainer, Ben Vereen, Whoopi Goldberg and Jerry Seinfeld.

"Top Five" opens in select theaters Dec. 5 and nationwide on Dec. 13. Before that, Rock will be hosting "Saturday Night Live" on Nov. 1.
