Chris Evert, Lindsay Davenport to guest star on "CSI" in January

Retired tennis stars Chris Evert and Lindsay Davenport are making cameos on an episode of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" in January.

Evert, Davenport and Justin Gimelstob will guest star as themselves on the CBS drama, in an episode about the death of a professional female tennis player.

Evert, a Hall of Famer, won 18 Grand Slam singles titles. Davenport won three, along with an Olympic gold medal. Gimelstob, a former top-ranked U.S. junior player, is now best known as a TV commentator.

"CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" airs on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET.
