Chace Crawford Arrested [Picture] As He Prepares To Promote Movie
Ironically, "Gossip Girl" star Chace Crawford was arrested on pot possession charges just as he was gearing up to promote "Twelve," a movie in which he plays a drug dealer.
Police arrested the 24-year-old actor in a pub parking lot just after midnight Friday morning in Plano, Texas, where he grew up. He was charged with possession of under 2 ounces of marijuana (one unlit joint).
Crawford has posted bond and is out of jail, but not before his mug shot was released.
In "Twelve," which is set for a fall release, Crawford plays a drug dealer whose life unravels after his cousin is murdered and his best friend in charged with the crime. His co-stars include Emma Roberts, Kiefer Sutherland, 50 Cent, Ellen Barkin and Rory Culkin.
