Cell Phone Deflects Bullet at Atlanta Nightclub
ATLANTA (CBS/AP) Police in Atlanta say a cell phone deflected a bullet fired at a nightclub employee after two men were ejected from the club.
Officers say a parking attendant at a club called Halo was struck in the chest when shots were fired early Thursday.
Police say the attendant had a cell phone in his jacket pocket, and the shot hit the phone before it ricocheted off his chest.
They say two people were arrested a short time later, and two handguns were recovered from their vehicle.
Police say the parking attendant suffered minor injuries.
