Caught On Tape: Puppy-Nappers On The Loose

MIAMI (CBS) Miami-Dade police are on the lookout for two women caught on surveillance tape as they entered a Southwest Miami-Dade pet shop, stuffed four Chihuahuas and two Yorkies in a garbage bag and then drove away with a store employee dragging beside their Lexus SUV.

According to CBS 4 Miami, police say two women walked into pet store, Puppy Dreams, looking for the perfect pups, but had no intention of paying for them.

Pet-store employee Rafael Sanchez gave a valiant attempt to save the puppies and was dragged 200 feet while hanging to the getaway car before he let go. Luckily, Sanchez only suffered minor scratches and bruises.
