Casey Anthony Update: Prosecutors Want Fla. Mom's Sex, Criminal History Detailed at Murder Trial
ORLANDO, Fla. (CBS/WKMG) Prosecutors in the case against Casey Anthony, the Florida mother who allegedly killed her 2-year-old daughter in 2008, claim information regarding Anthony's criminal history and intimate relationship with her boyfriend is relevant to her murder trial.

In a 14-page motion filed Wednesday, the prosecution questioned Anthony's contention that 2-year-old Caylee was abducted, noting that Anthony did not tell her boyfriend Tony Lazzaro
of her daughter's disappearance.
Police said that during June 2008, the month the toddler went missing but had not yet been reported as such, Anthony never informed Lazzaro.
The prosecution also claims that Anthony's guilty plea to theft charges is relevant, saying that her propensity for stealing from relatives could suggest a motive for killing her daughter.
Last year, Anthony pleaded guilty using fraudulent checks in her best
friend's name to make purchases during the time that Caylee was
missing, according to CBS
affiliate WKMG.
Last week the defense argued that evidence such as Anthony's reported history of stealing and lying along with elements of her sex life should not be admissible in the trial slated to start in May, claiming it's irrelevant to the first-degree murder case against her, reports WKMG.
In their Wednesday motion prosecutors also claimed that Anthony's "La Bella Vita" tattoo, meaning "The Good Life," is also relevant. According to The Orlando Sentinel, Anthony got the tattoo sometime between June 16, 2008, the day Caylee was last seen alive, and July 15, 2008, when she was reported missing by her maternal grandmother.Prosecutors said jurors could see the tattoo as an "expression of her preference for her life without Caylee."
The prosecution also argued that two MySpace postings be considered admissible in court.
One is a post made by Anthony three weeks after Caylee disappeared, which said, "Everyone lies...everyone dies...tomorrow is a brand new day." The state said that post shows Anthony's state of mind and is inconsistent with her claims about trying to "find her kidnapped child" during that time, reports WKMG.
Judge Belvin Perry will decide if the prosecution can use this evidence in court.
Anthony, 24, is jailed on first-degree murder charges in the death of her daughter, Caylee, whose remains were found in December 2008. She is being held at the Orange County Jail without bond.
