Wednesday see the annual Empire State Building Run-Up, with athletes from around the world charging up 86 flights of stairs.

Thursday is the 62nd anniversary of Queen Elizabeth's accession to the British throne.
Friday sees the opening ceremony for the Sochi Winter Olympics in Russia.
