On Thursday, installation begins for a Simpsons mural in the Emerald Art Center in Springfield Oregon . . . widely believed to be THE Springfield in the Simpsons TV show.

Friday sees the BMI R&B Hip Hop Awards ceremony in Hollywood, with the President's Award going to Christopher Bridges aka Ludacris.
