Britney Waxes Spiritual
Britney Spears is letting her fans know that she really cares — about them.
On a message posted on her web site Wednesday, Spears writes: "The reason for this letter is to let everyone know that their prayers have truly helped me. I am so blessed that you care enough about me to be concerned and [I] will continue to live in this brighter state with all of you by my side during this trying time."
Spears has made plenty of headlines in the past year for a high profile divorce proceedings from erstwhile husband Kevin Federline, heavy partying, an incident in which she shaved her head, and a month-long trip to rehab.
"We are all lights of the world and we all need to continuously inspire others and look to the higher power," Spears writes in her web site message. "You are all in my prayers."
Spears recently made news when she made a series of 15-minute club appearances in a skimpy outfit to perform with a group of backup dancers in hip-swiveling attendance.

The singer's message on britneyspears.com accompanies a photo of a barely clothed Britney, arms crossed, wearing what appears to be a bobbed blond wig, long white gloves and nothing else. The home page also promises "New Official Site Coming Soon."
