Britney Spears To Perform At VMAs

Britney Spears' next stop on the comeback trail will be Sunday's live performance at the MTV Video Music Awards.

MTV, which will air the VMAs, confirmed Thursday that Spears will be performing her new song, "Gimme More," from her upcoming album due on Nov. 13.

In addition to her performance, MTV Mobile will be offering two exclusive ringtones - one for "Gimme More" and the other featuring the song's controversial catch-phrase "It's Britney, B****." MTV Mobile is also planning to carry a live simulcast of the show, which the network claims is the first-ever for an awards show.

The show will also feature performances by Kanye West, Fall Out Boy, Chris Brown, Foo Fighters, Rihanna, Common, Nelly Furtado, Gym Class Heroes, Akon and Soulja Boy, T-Pain, Cee-Lo, Daniel Merriweather, Lil' Wayne, Alicia Keys, T.I., Adam Levine, Mastadon, and Serj from System of A Down.
