NEW YORK (CBS) Former New York Jets game hostess Jenn Sterger, who allegedly received inappropriate photos and phone messages from Vikings quarterback Brett Favre, says she will not sue him or the NFL if the football legend is suspended for the rest of the season.

Sterger's manager Phil Reese says his client will not pursue litigation if the league suspends Favre and "implements a program" that would prevent unwanted advances, like the ones she supposedly received from Favre, from happening in the future.

Reese's announcement was made amid speculation that the NFL was trying to buy time until the 2010 season ends, and with it, Favre's career, reports The New York Post.

With only four regular-season games remaining, Sterger wants Favre punished before the clock runs out on his career.

Sterger claims Favre left several inappropriate voice mails and sent lewd photos while she was working as a sideline reporter for the New York Jets during the 2008 season.

Although Favre has reportedly admitted to leaving the racy voice mails, he vehemently denies sending graphic photos.

According to The New York Post, the National Football League commissioner Roger Goodell received the find of the league's probe in to allegations, but refuses to comment on the status of the case.

Reese told The Post that Sterger is not out for money or fame.

"All she wants is to clear her name."
