The blond bikini-clad barista who works at Twin Perks in Portland, Ore. said she followed the suspect onto a bus and demanded he give her the money back.

According to CBS affiliate KVAL, surveillance video from the coffee stand shows a man putting his hand into the tip jar and walking away. Karvinen said she followed the man onto a bus and demanded he return the money.

When the man tried to give her "a couple of bucks," she demanded he hand over the rest as stunned bus passengers looked on.

Karvinen said she was adamant, telling those present the man stole her tip money and she wanted it back.

The bus driver told her to take the situation off the bus.

She said the suspect eventually gave her back more money - about $20 - before she got off the bus, but estimated the man took about $50.

Karvinen said it was the first time someone had stolen money while she has worked there and that she does not feel her job is unsafe.

Police are now looking for the suspect, who's name has not been released.
