After her set, the singer, who has a new album out this week,  told the BBC, "I felt like a rock star. I am just so honored. This is a highlight of my career."

Beyonce's set included most of her biggest hits and a cover of Alanis Morisette's "You Oughta Know." Her husband, Jay-Z, who headlined the festival in 2009, was in the crowd along with Gwyneth Paltrow, reports the BBC.

Also included in the set was a medley of Kings of Leon's "Sex on Fire" and Prince's "The Beautiful Ones," reports Billboard.
