NEW YORK (CBS) Jonathan Widawsky, who is mourning the loss of his beloved fiancée Annie Le, was photographed wearing a wedding ring on Monday, Sept. 21, 2009 by the New York Daily News.
A devastated Widawsky, 24, who was seen outside his parents' home in Huntington, N.Y., never got his chance to marry the 24-year-old Yale graduate student who was found murdered on the day the two were supposed to wed.
Widawsky has planned a memorial service for Le at Temple Beth El in his hometown on Wednesday, Sept. 23. Le's funeral will take place on the following Saturday in Placerville, Calif., where Le grew up.
Le, who was pursuing a pharmacology graduate degree at Yale, was killed Sept. 8, just five days before her wedding, in a university research facility. Yale Animal Research Center technician Raymond Clark III, also 24, has been charged with her murder.
