Vancouver police say Koenig, 41, was visiting friends in West Vancouver when he went missing. According to a blog post on the Los Angeles Times, the 41-year-old actor was staying with Jenny Magenta, a burlesque dancer, since Feb. 10. He was last seen on Feb. 14.

A statement released by the police department says Koenig "has recently been despondent and his family and friends are concerned for his well-being."

Koenig lives in Venice, California, but at one time lived in Vancouver.

He is the son of Walter Koenig, who played Chekov in the "Star Trek" television series and movies.

On "Growing Pains," Koenig played Boner, a pal of star Kirk Cameron's character Mike.
