Amanda Beard: 'Sexiest Athlete'
What's a better title: "Double Olympic Gold Medalist," or "World's Sexiest Athlete?"
Three-time Olympic swimmer Amanda Beard has the seemingly wonderful problem of deciding.
FHM magazine dubs beard the sexiest athlete on the planet in its August issue and Beard, whose modeling career has taken off, has an extensive photo spread in the issue.
She chatted about it all in The Early Show plaza Thursday with co-anchors Hannah Storm and Rene Syler.
Beard, who has won seven medals in all, holds the world record in the 200 meter breaststroke.
She told Storm and Syler she loves modeling, but intends to continue her other career, as well, focusing on trying ot make the U.S. team for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.
