The song's cumulative sales rose to 6.68 million, according to Nielsen SoundScan, surpassing Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" (6.62 million) to hold the top selling women's song in the U.S.

The 99,000 download bump at the end of the week of Feb. 26 caused "Rolling in the Deep" to become the second biggest-selling song among all digital songs, behind the Black Eyed Peas' "I Gotta Feeling" (7.82 million).

Last month, the British songstress' album "21"surpassed the Whitney Houston-led soundtrack to "The Bodyguard" as the longest running No. 1 album by a woman in history. Adele's "21" nabbed the Album of the Year title at this year's Grammys.
