Sharon Sedwick calls police to report that there's been a horrible tragedy involving her daughter Jennifer Cave... but when the full enormity of what's taken place hits her she breaks down.
CONCLUSION
Colton Pitonyak was found guilty of murdering Jennifer Cave and sentenced to 55 years in prison.
His girlfriend Laura Hall was found guilty of mutilating Cave's body, and of helping Pitonyak escape by driving him to Mexico.
She was sentenced to five years in prison, but her sentence was eventually thrown out due to a prosecutorial mistake.
Her new sentencing hearing is scheduled to begin this May. In a surprising twist, a new witness has recently come forward claiming that Laura Hall told him that she was "going to get away with murder."
What impact this testimony has on both these defendants remains to be seen.
