400 Car Tires Slashed in Florida Condo Communities
DELRAY BEACH, Fla. (CBS/AP) Broward County authorities are looking for whoever slashed about 400 car tires in two Delray Beach condo communities.
Residents in one gated community woke up Tuesday morning to find their tires had been slashed overnight.
Police counted more than 200 tires damaged in each community. Some cars had one tire punctured, while others had two or three. Police say the punctures appeared to have been made with a knife or box cutter.
Police spokesman Jeff Messer says the first calls about the vandalism came in around 5:30 a.m.
No suspects were identified.
