South Florida man credits new blood test with saving his life during cancer battle

Dave Santee said he decided to take the Galleri test, a blood test that analyzes a person’s blood for DNA of cancer cells, because his mother and sister had breast cancer. He tested positive for three signals: thyroid, prostate and blood cancer. Follow-up testing showed he was positive for a rare blood cancer.
