Person of interest detained after reported rape at Florida Memorial

Miami Gardens police have a person of interest in custody after a Florida Memorial University student reported being raped on campus early Sunday morning. Neighbors say they saw suspicious people in the area days before the attack and are now forming a neighborhood watch group. School officials have increased security with added patrols, more staff at entrances, and additional cameras as the investigation continues.
