NTSB: Mislabeled wire may have caused ship blackout leading to Baltimore bridge collapse killing six

Investigators say the collapse of Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge may have been triggered by a mislabeled wire installed when the cargo ship Dali was built. The National Transportation Safety Board believes the faulty label prevented a proper circuit breaker connection, leading to a power blackout that caused the ship to strike a bridge pillar. Six people were killed in the disaster.
