Drunk raccoon rescued after liquor store break‑in in Virginia

Animal control officers in Virginia rescued a raccoon that broke into a liquor store, smashed bottles, and drank enough alcohol to pass out in the bathroom. The animal was secured, allowed to “sleep it off,” and later released unharmed.
