Brigitte Bardot laid to rest in Saint‑Tropez

A funeral was held today in Saint‑Tropez for Brigitte Bardot, the iconic French actress who lived in the Riviera town for more than 50 years. The ceremony took place at a Catholic church and was broadcast on large screens, followed by a private burial overlooking the Mediterranean. Bardot died last week at age 91.
