Actress and husband sued after hit-and-run on e-scooter in Coral Gables

An actress and her husband are being sued after a hit-and-run in Coral Gables was caught on camera. The victim says he suffered permanent injuries. Cell phone video shows a car hitting a man on an e-scooter at Giralda Avenue and Douglas Road, trapping his foot under the car before driving away. The man described the ordeal as being “slowly run over” for more than 30 seconds. He is now out of the hospital.
