3rd rescued sloth dies at Central Florida Zoo after Orlando attraction closure
A third sloth, named Dumpling, has died at the Central Florida Zoo following the rescue of 13 animals from the shuttered Sloth World attraction in Orlando. The zoo says Dumpling had struggled with digestion issues since arriving, and many of the rescued sloths were underweight and suffering from health problems. Sloth World, which never opened to the public, is under scrutiny for animal welfare concerns.
