Sunrise Boulevard Bridge Span Re-Opens
SUNRISE (CBS4) - Good news for drivers trying to leave Ft. Lauderdale beach via Sunrise Boulevard.
The bridge is open again.
Just after noon they city announced that the westbound span of the Sunrise Boulevard Bridge was being closed to traffic for repairs.
No word was given on how long the repairs would take but just after 2 p.m. the city said the bridge had been re-opened to traffic.
Drivers in the area either have to use the bridge on Las Olas Boulevard, or head south to SE 17th Street or north to East Oakland Park Boulevard.
