Storm Watch Up In Bermuda For Tropical Depression Karl

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Tropical Storm Karl continues moving northwestward and is expected to pass near Bermuda Friday night or Saturday morning.
At 11 p.m. the center of Karl was about 370 miles south of Bermuda.
Karl's maximum sustained winds were up to 35 mph as it moved to the northwest near 16 mph.
Strengthening is forecast during the next 48 hours, and Karl could become a hurricane on Saturday.
A turn toward the north is expected on Friday, with a turn toward the northeast expected Friday night. On the forecast track, the center of Karl should pass near or to the east of Bermuda on Friday night or Saturday morning.
A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for Bermuda.
Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Lisa is weakening over the eastern Atlantic.
At 11 p.m. the center of the storm was about 820 miles west-northwest of the Cabo Verde Islands.
The storm had maximum sustained winds of 45 mph as it moved to the northwest at 9 mph.
Additional weakening is forecast during the next 48 hours and Lisa is forecast to become a tropical depression by Saturday morning.
There are no watches or warnings in effect for either storm.
