Trio Charged In Weston Restaurant Robbery

FT. LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - Two men and a teen have been charged in last month's robbery of a Weston restaurant.

It happened April 28th, just before midnight at Moon Thai on Weston Road. Surveillance video from the restaurant showed two armed masked men enter through a back door. They then herded the employees into the women's restroom. As one of the men held the employees at gunpoint, his partner went into the dining room and rifled through the shelves near the register. He then got a female employee from the bathroom and brought her out to open the register for him.

After taking an undisclosed amount of cash and some personal property from the employees, the two men took off in a 2010 Honda Insight that belonged to one of the managers.

Davie police found the car while the investigators were still at the robbery scene.

Detectives arrested Luis Olivares-Rosaria, 37, of Davie; Michael Corrales, 23, of Davie and Cesar Campozano, 17, of Plantation. They were all charged with robbery with a firearm and wearing a mask during the commission of a felony.
