Tap 42 Bar & Kitchen

1411 S. Andrews Ave.
Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33316
(954) 463-4900

The Best Bar in Broward County as voted by readers of the Broward New Times – the food, ambiance and flowing craft beers would satisfy anyone and convince them to stay "a little while longer" in situations when going home early to get up for work would be the best play. Pulled pork or beef sliders, goat cheese-stuffed peppadews, coconut lime lychee ceviche and shrimp mac and cheese are comforting, decadent dishes that Tap 42 offers. Along with a vast selection of craft beers, there are cocktails such as Lavender Lemonade, Te-Kill-Ya, Strawberry Cane Mojito and the Ghost Bramble to wash down the enormous amount of food ordered (and eaten) during a sitting.

Barrezito South Beach

2000 Collins Ave.
Miami Beach, FL 33139

Barrezito means "Full Bar" as said by Any Webber, partner of Barrezito South Beach. The first of 55 establishments by Grupo Impluza in the United States, Barrezito captures the essence of South Beach. A great two-minute teaser of a night at Barrezito can be seen on its website and a viewer will feel the electricity of the establishment from the video and immediately begin to call friends to plan for the night. The restaurant mixes Japanese cuisine with Hispanic influences. As a result, the menu has sashimi, ceviche, tacos and tostadas. Barrezito opens in the mid afternoon during the week and doesn't close until almost the crack of dawn (5 a.m.). Sunday is like a day of rest before the festivities continue on Monday with the hours of 12 p.m. to 2 a.m.
