Thousands Attend Free CPR Training
MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Thousands of people turned out to learn CPR Saturday.
According to event officials, 4,740 people visited eight locations for free CPR training.
The American Red Cross collaborated with Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, Jackson Health System, Miami-Dade County Public Schools, University of Miami and the American Heart Association to teach the life- saving skills.
The woman who made headlines for saving her nephew, Sebastian de la Cruz, on the side of the Dolphin Expressway in February was at one of the locations where the training was taking place.

Pamela Rauseo, 37, gave her five-month-old nephew CPR when he stopped breathing in the car. "Let's put it this way, I am very glad I'm standing here than at a funeral home or grave looking at my nephew's grave," Rauseo said.
The Red Cross said it takes just about one-hour to train someone to save a life using CPR.
