Sports Agenda For Thursday (9/1/11)
Big Story:
FINALLY!!!! Tonight we get some real football that actually counts. Course it's a bunch of bad college games, but nevertheless, football season is here!!!!!!
Plus, Sparano rallies the troops for another 7-9 season, and the Marlins remain the most pathetically run team in baseball.
Let's drop this agenda harder than Brandon Jenkins does a quarterback.
Firsties:
Yes, yes, yes, yes, oh yeah!!! College football is back starting tonight.
So, without further adieu, here's the games you should watch this weekend, plus who will win:

Saturday:
Miami (OH) - 13 vs. #21 Missouri - 41
South Florida - 17 vs. #16 Notre Dame -27

Dolphins:
If you haven't had a chance to listen to Tony Sparano rally the troops, it's a great listen.
Check it out here: http://miami.cbslocal.com/2011/08/31/sparano-rallies-the-players-fans-for-season/
Makes you believe if he had better pieces, maybe he could win.
Course the Ireland regime is anathema to good players, so don't hold your breath on much improvement.
Marlins: (@ New York Mets; 7:10 p.m.; Fox Sports Florida)
I'm trying to figure out which is more painful….having to watch a Marlins game, or having to watch a newscast if you have any sense of writing accurately.
It's a push now.
By the way, the Fish lost again to end the month of August at 7-20.
Combine that with the month of June and the Fish went something along the lines of 12-40 or something like that, it's so bad it's not worth calculating.
Thank goodness it's September and South Florida baseball fans, both of them, are almost out of their misery.
