Sheriff's Office Names Gunman In Chevron Station Shooting

FT. LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – Two Pompano Beach men remain hospitalized after they were shot a week ago at a Chevron gas station.

Now, the Broward Sheriff's Office has released the name and picture of a man who they say pulled the trigger. When he's caught, 23-year old Anthony Milliner will be charged with two counts of attempted second degree murder.

The shooting happened just before 4 a.m. at the Chevron station at 3601 N Dixie Highway. It began as a fight between several men. As it escalated, gunfire erupted. Michael Lee, 23, and Darris Hicks Jr., 25, were taken to North Broward Medical Center as trauma alerts.

Sheriff's detectives there were about 50 people at the station at the time of the shooting. They had all come from Club Tropicante in Deerfield Beach where they had been partying.

Anyone with information on Milliner's whereabouts is urged to call BSO Det. Chris Seaman at (954) 321-4224 or Crime Stoppers of Broward County at (954) 493-8477 (TIPS) or online at www.browardcrimestoppers.org. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
