Real-Life Boogey Man Allegedly Attempted Abduction
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A sticky situation unfolded at Miami International Airport Monday was nothing to sneeze about after a real-life boogey man attempted to abduct a girl.
Miami-Dade Police said Anthony Joseph Calvanese, III, 24, grabbed a girl who was standing near an exit door and told her, "you belong to me and your (sic) coming with me."
According to the arrest report, Calvanese then allegedly tried to pull the victim by the arm towards the inside of the terminal.
The girl began screaming and several family members who were standing close by began walking towards her and Calvanese allegedly let go of her and ran from the scene, according to Miami-Dade County Police.
According to the arrest report, Calvanese was identified by family members as the attempted abductor and arrested.
