Police Search For Two Women Suspected Of Drugging, Robbing Men In Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD (CBSMiami) -- Police are hoping the public can help identify two women who drugged and robbed two men of their Rolex watches at a home in Hollywood.

The victims met the women at the Porterhouse Bar in Sunny Isles on January 7th, according to Hollywood Police.

After some time, the women were invited back to a residence in east Hollywood. Once inside, the suspects made drinks that were apparently "spiked" and gave them to the men.

"When the victims and the suspects went to one of the victim's homes, the suspects made the victims drinks at the victim's residence. Which is how the victims believe that they were drugged," said Meredith Elrich of Hollywood Police.

Both victims told officers they fell asleep and didn't awake until the following morning. They immediately noticed their Rolex watches had been removed from their wrists and other watches were stolen from his safe.

People in Sunny Isles Beach on Thursday evening said they hope these women get caught.

"If you live in Miami, you have to be on your toes all the time," said Adriana Wilson. "It's the beach and it's beautiful but it can be dangerous."

"To think that a woman would do something like this to a man or even a man doing this to a woman," said Kevin, who declined to give his last name. "It's deplorable."

The theft comes after a string of similar robberies involving attractive women and unassuming men, including a robbery last month at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. A Hallandale man told police he was drugged and robbed of his jewelry worth more than $50,000 after offering a woman a ride.

The same thing happened in November under similar circumstances.

Police are not sure if these incidents are related or if the suspects are operating under a crime ring.

Security cameras caught both women leaving the most recent victim's property. Police are hoping the clear images will lead to their capture.
