Hollywood Woman Found Murdered In Her Home
HOLLYWOOD (CBS4) – Police are trying to determine the events that led to the murder of a Hollywood woman Saturday evening.
Police spokeswoman Lt. Diana Pereira said 62 year old Irene Kertesz was found in her home in the 2400 block of NW 57th Way around 9 p.m. Police said Kersetz husband discovered his wife's body.
"Officers responded to a call of an unconscious female. When they arrived they saw a suspicious scene and that it did not appear that the woman died from natural causes," said Pereira.
Neighbors seemed to know very little about Kertesz or her husband.
"Very quiet. She didn't mix with anybody, they weren't very friendly," said Luci Rosato.
"I don't know her personally. Just to hear that, however, I'm shocked," said Karlos Puente
Police have released very few details about their investigation including how Kertesz died. They would say, however, that they did not have a suspect in custody.
Anyone with information on Kertesz's murder is asked contact the Hollywood Police Department at (954) 967-4347.
