Plantation Man, 70, Charged With Possessing Child Pornography
PLANTATION (CBSMiami) – A man accused of possessing child pornography over the internet and at his home has been arrested by the Broward County Sheriff's Office.
James Brigham, 70, faces 32 counts of possessing child pornography.
He was arrested August 29.
According to BSO, the National Task Force, South Florida Internet Crimes Against Children launched an investigation into Brigham after a receiving a hit from the Peer-To-Peer file sharing network.
The images were viewed between May 9, 2013 and August 15, 2013 according to an arrest affidavit.
The affidavit stated Brigham admitted to viewing the images and videos on his home office computer and that he knew it was illegal to possess child pornography.
According to investigators, Brigham had images and videos stored on his computer and on compact discs of children between the ages of 10 and 13 nude or performing sex acts.
