MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The attacks in Paris has sparked concern across the world, with some sporting venues increasing security Tuesday.

In Germany, a soccer game was cancelled after the stadium was evacuated due to a bomb threat.

Authorities said they found concrete evidence about an explosives attack at the scheduled game between Germany and the Netherlands.

In London, there was heightened security at Wembley Stadium ahead of a soccer game between France and England.

There were no reported issues.

The evening turned out to be a moving one as supporters of both teams sang the French national anthem during a pre-game ceremony.

The Miami Heat held a moment of silence prior to their game against the Minnesota Timberwolves to honor the victims of the Paris attacks.

CBS4 spoke with a security consultant in South Florida about how law enforcement authorities can strategize to better protect local venues following the attacks in Paris and what the challenges they face.

"One of the things we do is we put ourselves in the mind of a terrorist and if we were a terrorist, what would we do?  How would we attack?  That's a constantly evolving scenario," said Wayne Black, a security consultant. "There are more threats, more chatter. And it seems like more bad guys than there are intelligence officers and law enforcement to go around."
