WEST PALM BEACH (CBSMiami/AP) — Two young sisters from Miami who were abducted by their parents, who do not have custody of them, have been found safe and sound.
Keilyn Martinez, 4, and her 3-year-old sister Kristel are in the custody of the Department of Children and Families after they were found in West Palm Beach on Wednesday. The girls had been last seen early Sunday morning at the Miami home where they lived with their grandmother, who has custody of the girls. They were reported missing on Monday.
The girls' parents, 26-year-old Christy Vigo Rezkala and 28-year-old Erline Martinez, have been charged with interfering with a judge's custody order.
The Miami police department's Special Victims Unit, working with the U.S. Marshal Service, recovered the children.
