Marshall Returns; Crowder Injured

DAVIE (CBS4) - The Miami Dolphins got a mixed bag of news on the injury front Wednesday. Star wide receiver Brandon Marshall returned to the practice field and is likely to play this Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.

But, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, middle linebacker Channing Crowder sat out practice due to an unknown injury. Crowder missed games at the beginning of the season due to a groin injury. He's made 22 tackles during the seven games he's played in 2010.

Inside linebacker Tim Dobbins will replace Crowder if he can't go against the Browns.

Marshall has played in 10 games this season and when he's on the field, he's been every Dolphins quarterback's favorite target. He's caught 58 passes on the season for 693 yards and 1 touchdown.

Marshall is on pace for another solid season this year. He's never had less than 1,000 yards receiving since his rookie season in 2006. He's currently on pace to have nearly 1,200 yards receiving for the 2010 season.

The Dolphins managed more than 300 yards through the air against an injury-ravaged Oakland Raiders team without Marshall in the lineup.
