Man Wanted In Pompano Beach Shooting Turns Himself In
FT. LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – A man wanted in connection with the deadly shooting in Pompano Beach has turned himself in to police.
The Broward Sheriff's Office has been looking for Adiel Jaramillo, 20, since last Friday when the shooting occurred.
Michael Cornelio, 19, was with his girlfriend and roommate at his apartment at 428 S.W. 2nd Place when Jaramillo stopped by.
Jaramillo was showing off his new gun when, according to the sheriff's office, it went off, killing Cornelio.
Jaramillo took off before deputies arrived. He's now facing charges of manslaughter, tampering with evidence and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
