MIAMI-DADE (CBS4) -Miami-Dade homicide detectives are looking for answers in an early morning shooting that left a young father dead in his own driveway.
It happened outside the home at 356 NE 111th Street, just before 5:00 a.m.
Neighbor Safari Horn heard the gunshots.
"I heard three gun shots. Bang, then bang, bang," described Horn to CBS4's Sharrie Williams.
Horn ran outside and heard a woman screaming for help.
"She was hollering and screaming to the police saying come on, come on, he's not breathing and to come on," said Horn. He went on, "I saw him lying down there bleeding out of the mouth."
Friends and family members say the young man is Jimmy Baptiste.
Police say the 25-year-old was returning home. He was getting out of his SUV when he was ambushed and shot several times. The killer took off.
