Four Injured In I-95 Crash In Dania Beach

MIAMI - (CBS4) - Three people were trapped in their cars after a multiple car crash Tuesday afternoon on I-95 south near Griffin Road in Dania Beach.

Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue crews worked to extricate three people and by 4 p.m., two people had been successfully extricated. A third person remained trapped, Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue officials said in a statement.

 A fourth person was also injured. Officials did not immediately release the names of those injured.

The accident caused traffic tie-ups along much of the Griffin Road exit at I-95 on the southbound lanes.
