MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Miami Dolphins added another new defensive player on Wednesday, coming to terms with pass rusher Andre Branch.

Branch gives the Dolphins a bit more depth at defensive end, behind veterans Cameron Wake and Mario Williams.

Since being drafted in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft, Branch has spent his entire NFL career with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Last season he started nine games and finished the year with four sacks.  He has 14 in his career.

The Dolphins ranked 25th in the NFL last season with 31 sacks, an area that the team needs to improve under new head coach Adam Gase.
