Suspect charged after woman found with stab wounds in Deerfield Beach, BSO says

A suspect is in custody hours after the Broward Sheriff's Office said a woman was found with stab wounds early Sunday morning.

Deputies said the victim was found around 3:45 a.m. along the 400 block of Northwest Third Avenue in Deerfield Beach. The sheriff's office said she faced non-life-threatening wounds and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

BSO said an adult female suspect was taken into custody just after 10 a.m. She has not been identified as of publication.

The investigation is ongoing.
