17 Cuban Migrants In Custody After Making Landfall In Keys
MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Seventeen Cuban migrants were taken into custody Saturday morning after landing in the Florida Keys.
US Border Patrol tweeted that they suspected this to be a smuggling operation.
Chief Patrol Agent Walter N. Slosar said in a tweet that so far during this fiscal year, agents have responded to over 60 maritime smuggling events that have made landfall Florida.
