Cool Weather On Its Way Out

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- The high pressure system that's gotten South Florida below normal temperatures will move east into the Atlantic the next few days.

This means the cool weather is also on the way out.

The winds will switch around into a more easterly direction over the weekend into much of next week so milder ocean air will warm things up.

The surf temperature is in the mid 70s so South Florida won't warm up too dramatically but it should be close to 80 degrees by the middle of next week.

The difference will be more noticeable at night with our lows closer to 60 Friday night and into the mid to upper 60s the next several nights.

Rain chances are slim but a sprinkle or two could impact the beaches the next few days with these ocean breezes.
