Car Crashes Through Port Everglades Checkpoint
MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Broward Sheriff's Deputies apprehended a person Thursday after the person crashed their car through a Port Everglades checkpoint.
According to deputies, the person for reasons unknown decided not to stop at the checkpoint and drove straight through.
In the process the car also hit a BSO unit. The deputy in the unit was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
The person did not get far and was apprehended.
