Good Korean food is hard to find, but when you walk into Da Mee Rak you'll know you've found it. Start with an appetizer of Man-doo (steamed pork dumplings). The dipping sauce is not too tangy or too sweet.  If you don't know what to order, try the Jap-Chae - a mountain of beef, assorted vegetables with a translucent vermicelli noodles.  The beef or chicken Kalbi burst with flavor without being overpowering-ly sweet.

This place has split personality as it serves Japanese sushi along with Korean dishes and BBQ.  A highly recommended dish is the Duk Mandu Gook which comes with dumplings, rice cakes and vegetables in a really light broth.  Care for a little BBQ - then fire up the table-side grill and order the Kalbi; either marinated bone-in beef rib or spicy pork which comes with romaine lettuce leaves (to wrap the meat in), soybean paste, jalapeno, and garlic.
